Tell Lansing: Say No to Hunting & Fishing License Fees
Now is not the time to make it harder or more expensive for Michiganders to enjoy the natural resources that define our way of life.

The Michigan State Senate just passed a bill that would increase the cost of a base hunting license for Michigan residents by 50%. This would price out countless hunters and anglers who cherish our great outdoors. Now, this bill heads to the State House, and could soon be signed into law by the governor if we do not speak out.
For nearly 300 days, the 35th State Senate District has gone without a voice in Lansing. Our communities have had no say on issues that matter, from protecting our outdoor traditions to defending the affordability of hunting and fishing for working families.
This is exactly why it is critical for the 35th District to have strong, local representation in the State Senate. Decisions should not be made behind closed doors or without our input.
We urge the State House and the Governor to reject any increase to Michigan’s hunting and fishing license fees. Now is not the time to make it harder or more expensive for Michiganders to enjoy the natural resources that define our way of life.
